The new special feature "From India to Europe ... Festival Report2006", first time being broadcasted on 30th September 2006 is part of the monthly broadcasting show "IMC OnAir". It is headed under the leadership of the promotion initiative "IMC - India meets Classic" (non commercial).
Festival Report is sent two times per year each in a two hours broadcasting show (116 minutes playtime) via Radio (high fidelity studio quality pre-production for cable + analogue transmission) plus PodCasting (+ phonecasting) via Internet internationally.
FestivalReport has it's focus onto the biggest music festivals in India, the history and development of Indian Festival Culture in our 21st century, the so called "Sangita Sammelana-s". The origin can be dated back to the 18th century. One of the eldest Festivals for Dance and Music is the Chennai Dance & Music Festival, which has it’s origin in the first Margazhi Festival in 1927
